The Hall family owned a home in Switzerland and approximately every three years, they went to Switzerland with their children and extended family. It was there that they found their first Bernese Mountain Dog, Suzie, and brought her home to Riverton. Bill searched for other dogs and owners of the same breed throughout the United States. She volunteered time with the Women of Christ Church and the Cinnaminson Home Board, and she pitched in at Zurbrugg Memorial Hospital.
